Senior Product Data Analyst
Do you want to be part of Bokadirekt's growth journey by driving product insights, building our experimentation culture, and turn data into reliable decisions?
We are looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics (D&A) team and be the D&A partner for our product teams. Bokadirekt is a company in rapid growth and we are looking for someone who has done a growth journey at another company before.
About the role
This role is about strengthening the D&A awareness within our product organization by contributing to five product teams on how to work more efficiently with driving product insight, building a strong experimentation culture, and ensuring decisions are grounded in reliable data.
Bokadirekt is a fast-paced scale-up where agility is key. You'll need to be comfortable delivering results amidst moving targets and quick turnarounds. You will be working closely with our Product Managers to define what to measure, how to test, and how to scale what works, with a dotted line from D&A to our Product & Tech team.
AI as a natural part of product decision-making and analytics
At Bokadirekt, AI is not a side initiative – it is becoming an integral part of how we make product and business decisions. In this role, you will help shape how AI is used within the Data & Analytics team and across product teams to improve experimentation, analysis, and decision-making.
This includes using AI to speed up analysis, improve insight generation, and support experimentation workflows – while ensuring that outputs remain grounded in statistical rigor and reliable data.
We work in an iterative, data-driven environment where AI capabilities are continuously tested, evaluated, and improved. You will also help share learnings across teams, enabling us to become faster, more consistent, and more impactful in how we build product.
What You’ll Do
Drive Product Insights:
Analyze user/merchants behavior across the product lifecycle
Identify drop-offs, friction points, and growth opportunities
Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for product teams
Promote a data-informed culture in the Product team
Own Experimentation & A/B Testing:
Design, run, and evaluate A/B tests end-to-end
Define guardrail metrics and success criteria
Ensure statistical rigor (power analysis, test validity, bias control)
Educate product teams on experimentation best practices
Help prioritize experiments based on expected impact
Establish a Strong Experimentation Culture:
Define experimentation framework and documentation standards
Create clear playbooks for hypothesis → test → decision
Coach PMs and engineers on experiment design
Event Tracking & Data Foundations:
Collaborate with Product & Engineering to define tracking requirements
Ensure events are consistent, reliable, and usable
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Data Analysis and in ensuring that the organisation has access to a reliable source of truth and act based on decision intelligence.
The candidate will also play an active role in product development: helping Product with ideation, business cases, opportunity backlog sizing, prioritisation, testing, experimentation, preparing & delivering during iterations and doing post mortems.
This role requires someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, building structure where it does not yet exist, and raising the bar for analytical rigor across the organization.
Requirements:
5+ years in Product Analytics or Data Science
Degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Physics or related field
Strong hands-on experience with A/B testing in production environments
Deep understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power analysis)
Experience working with product event data and imperfect tracking setups
Strong SQL skills
Experience with Python or R for advanced analysis
Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools
Proven ability to influence product decisions with data
Comfortable working in evolving environments where structure is still being built
Able to challenge assumptions constructively
English proficiency, Swedish is a plus
Nice to Have:
Experience building experimentation frameworks from scratch
Experience working in marketplace, SaaS, fintech, or consumer apps
Knowledge of causal inference or advanced experimentation methods
Familiarity with tools like Looker Studio, etc.
Experience with Confidence by Spotify
