Say hi to Nils, our Engineering Manager

At Bokadirekt, we have many heroes working behind the scenes – and Nils is one of them. Let’s get to know him a little better!

🛠️ So, what does he actually do all day? A typical day for Nils is a mix of planning, code reviews, and meetings – but he’s always happy to jump in and write code himself when the chance arises. As Engineering Manager, he also makes sure the team is thriving and that our technical solutions are constantly evolving.

📣 How would he describe his job in his own words? “We build much of what holds together the relationship between Bokadirekt and our customers – subscriptions, billing, support tools, and making sure our sales team has the tools they need. In short: we make sure everything runs smoothly.”

☀️ And what does a perfect summer day look like for him? “I’m really looking forward to week 30 this summer, when some friends and I will be playing a board game (‘High Frontier 4 All,’ for anyone curious 😉) where we industrialize our solar system. We’ll mix that with some barbecuing and sunshine.”
